The bathroom and cleaning were poor, and there were old things from previous guests in the fridge. The floors were so dirty that walking around in socks made it obvious. The freezer needed defrosting too. At night, the upstairs neighbors made a lot of noise, possibly having a party. I contacted Numa several times, and they said they'd send security, but I don't know if anyone came. I eventually managed to sleep with my own earplugs, which weren't provided. Our breakfast order was another letdown. We were in a rush, especially on the last morning, and the cheese in a sandwich was mouldy. Maybe the supplier was responsible, but if this is Numa's standard breakfast, it's a serious problem. We also had trouble just getting into the room. Our codes hadn't arrived by 13:00 on arrival day, so I contacted guest experience three times before getting a reply. I hadn't realized the city tax was unpaid, though it's usually included when I book these properties. Once I paid it, I got the code, probably after some technical issue. I was glad I kept contacting them, since otherwise we might have been left waiting outside in the rain for hours, which seems to happen regularly at Numa. Check-in was at 15:00, but at 15:59 we were told the room was finally ready. Two minutes later, another message said it should have been ready by 14:30. What a joke. I'm not coming back here, and I have serious doubts about Numa as an accommodation provider in Barcelona.

The location is probably the apartments' best feature, and we had a nice view. Just be aware the building has no elevator, and the narrow stairs could be dangerous. My family and I each carried a medium-sized suitcase, and getting our luggage up to the second unit was really hard.

The rooftop terrace had a lovely view, and everything was very clean. We liked the room's style and comfort, and the staircase didn't bother us. It gave the place a bit of a local feel. The location was perfect for our Barcelona stay, right in the center.

The apartment was nice and in a great location, but those steep stairs really bring the rating down. There are a lot of them, so hauling luggage up and down is difficult.

The neighborhood is nice and the service was okay, but at 220 euros a night the price feels far too high. numa | Lustre has several apartments in the building. Avoid the one called ENT on the first floor if you want to sleep before 4 a.m. The club Space Cowboy is directly across from it.
