Numa Barcelona Seda

The location is right where you'd want to stay while visiting Balcelona, and the room was clean, quite spacious and had all the main appliances in its kitchenette. It has an appealing rustic look. The staircase is the main difficulty. If you had to check your bags to get to Barcelona, you may struggle with it: it's extremely tight. A solid four to four and a half stars.

The apartments are lovely, well equipped and reasonably priced. Just know that getting a suitcase up two to six flights means hauling it along a very steep, narrow spiral staircase. The area is noisy too.

We had restaurants, cafes, bars, Gelateria, supermarkets and local markets nearby, with bus stops, metro and the train station all within a five-minute walk. The neighborhood felt safe and the people were friendly. Noise at night was the one downside, which makes sense with so many bars around. There was also a bus stop to Tibibado less than five minutes away, making the mountain trip under an hour. It was a great base for exploring the city.

I came for work, and this place wouldn't have been my pick. The rooms aren't special, just spacious, and the stairs really are a struggle. Noise was as others described: someone dragging bins outside woke me at 4 a.m. I'd worn earplugs, but they came out while I was asleep. Like other Numa properties, it feels like you get less for your money despite the savings on personnel. At least the branding and marketing are good.
