Paris Hostal

The location is great, and the staff were lovely. The room is small, but it does the job. It was clean, especially the bathroom, and the air conditioning worked extremely well. The walls are pretty thin, so it can get loud. We only had a thin sheet to sleep under, though I think they might provide a proper duvet if you ask. I’d definitely recommend it.

The room was compact but had enough space, and it was very clean and renovated. The location was amazing. I did miss having a kettle, though it wasn’t essential.

It’s extremely well located, close to all of Barcelona’s famous attractions. I highly recommend it.

The location on Las Ramblas is hard to beat, and I’d absolutely come back. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, maybe because I can speak a little Spanish. I’d worried about noise after reading the reviews, but our room was thankfully quiet. We couldn’t hear other rooms, though maybe we were lucky with where ours was. The street facing balcony doors are double glazed, and once shut, they block out the street noise. We had a balcony overlooking the street. The room was fantastic, a good size, modern, and very clean, with a great bathroom. The bed was really comfortable. I might have preferred softer pillows, but they were still fine for sleeping, and I’ve had much worse elsewhere. I don’t understand the negative reviews. Maybe we just got lucky with our room.
