The room was cleaned every day, and the staff were really friendly. I booked a single for a couple of nights, and for the price and central location it was great. Shower gel and shampoo would have been useful, or at least some emergency supplies. There’s a shared bathroom and shower, which is fine for a few days but something to think about if you’re staying longer.

There’s a sink in your own room, which is convenient, and the beds are comfortable. They also provide a towel, and there are two bathrooms and two showers. Getting to them means walking past the owners, which felt a little awkward. The people running the place are very kind, but through no fault of theirs, the area gets extremely noisy. People can be heard yelling and talking late into the night, sometimes until 3 am.

It’s possible to use the kitchen, and the friendly, helpful staff make the stay easier, though some don’t speak English. The neighborhood stays noisy well into the night, so earplugs are a good idea. The rooms are simple, small, and clean, in an old, charming house, and the bathrooms are very clean too. Fine for a few nights while exploring the old part of Barcelona.

The people running the place are nice, and they keep it clean. Wi-Fi was bad, with no signal in some rooms. It’s in a great spot in the Gothic Quarter, though the area brings a lot of noise from homeless people and junkies overnight, and you can smell the street through the windows. The place itself is old, and everything feels like it’s from the 50s.
