The staff were friendly and tried to help, which I appreciated, but the room was so bad that it didn’t make up for it. It looked nothing like the online pictures, was extremely dirty, and seemed very poorly maintained. For the price, that’s completely unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless they seriously improve the cleanliness and update the rooms. I really don’t recommend this place.

There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops right by the entrance, and I could walk to any point in 15-25 minutes, so I never used public transport. The hotel is right in the city center, quiet, and on the fourth floor, with an elevator. I stayed for two nights. The rooms were clean and tidy, and towels and bed linen were included in the booking. A balcony room seems like a good choice for the view over a charming Barcelona street. You can rent a hair dryer for a small extra fee. The receptionist was very friendly and gave me helpful information. I recommend it as good value for money.

The bathroom smelled all the time, which made it really uncomfortable, and the place wasn’t very clean. I expected some lack of polish from a low-star hotel, but the man at the desk was also rude. He offended my friends and me because we didn’t understand what he was saying. We don’t speak Spanish, but we can speak English. Since he runs a hotel business, he should be able to speak at least a few words of English, but apparently he can’t.

It’s near MACBA and La Rambla, and for skaters who just need a cheap place to sleep, I’d recommend it. We were three people in a small room, but it was clean and had enough space for us. There was even a tiny balcony for smokers, and we had our own bathroom. The man was friendly and did his best to show and explain everything, though his English wasn’t very good.
