The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to relax with a drink and enjoy the good weather, with plenty of seats. The pool wasn’t open during our visit, but the terrace made up for it. Our room was a pleasant surprise: spacious, with a nice bathroom and a separate living area. Breakfast was a standard buffet with eggs, sausages, bacon, cheese, ham, cereal, tea and coffee, and we could use the coffee machine during the day too. Raval House is less than a five-minute walk from La Rambla, which made exploring easy. We’d seen warnings that the area might feel unsafe, but my friend and I, both in our early 20s, felt comfortable even coming back late at night. The entrance is locked at night and someone is always at reception to let guests in. We had a really lovely stay and would absolutely recommend it as a central Barcelona base. Nothing negative to say.
