The walls are thin and sound carries, and the Wi-Fi could be more reliable. Still, I’m in my second year here and, as a foreign UPC student, I’d happily recommend the residence to other students. It’s close to campus, the neighborhood feels safe, and they provide accommodation documents quickly when you need them for things like an NIE card or a local bank account. The staff have been a huge help with all sorts of questions and room problems, which usually get sorted out almost right away. When I accidentally locked myself in the courtyard during summer, with only my phone, I called Miriam and she came to help almost immediately. She’s an angel. Angelo has fixed things for me so many times, and he seems able to repair just about anything. Iulia, Angelina, Irina, John, Jonior, and the two girls who were here before have all been lovely too. They feel like friends. Better soundproofing and steadier Wi-Fi would make the place close to perfect.
