Suites Center Barcelona

Right in Barcelona’s shopping district, with famous sights nearby, this place is really well situated. The apartments are spacious, and the staff are very attentive. One of the best hotel apartments I’ve stayed in.

I was there for a week. The room was clean and well looked after, and the people working there were amazingly helpful.

The staff were kind and attentive, and the shower had strong pressure and plenty of hot water. That’s where the good parts end for us. The bedrooms were so tiny that our luggage wouldn’t fit, the beds were stiff, and the living room sofa bed was cheap and broken on one side. The washing machine didn’t work, and the refrigerator smelled so awful we gagged when opening it. The lobby constantly reeked of overpowering men’s cologne. Wi-Fi kept cutting out, and only half the USB charging ports worked. The location is way up north, far from the main sights. We couldn’t reach anyone at the phone number we were given. We eventually learned we needed to call Hotel Casa Fuster, but by then we couldn’t arrange an airport transfer and had to pay for a cab. With so many places to stay in Barcelona at this nightly price, I wouldn’t choose this one again.

Casa Fuster’s breakfast was one of the best parts of every day we spent in Barcelona. We could use the adjoining hotel’s staff and amenities, and the service there was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and more accommodating and attentive than hotel staff we’ve encountered before. We were a family of five visiting Europe for the first time, and this hotel was ideal. The hotel looked just like the pictures, and the location on the beautiful, upscale Pg de Gracia was quiet and felt safe. Grocery stores, all kinds of restaurants, and a metro station were close by. We couldn’t recommend it more.
