We were impressed with how well-designed the room was, with space for our cases and plenty of surfaces for our things. One thing I noticed was that the bathroom bin had no lid or bag. I understand the hotel is eco-conscious, but it seemed like an oversight, especially for disposing of sanitary products. We arrived at 11am expecting to leave our bags since check-in wasn't until 4pm, but our room was ready early. That let us freshen up and get our holiday started, which we really appreciated. It was a pleasant stay, and we'd absolutely come back.

Breakfast had great options and started at 7am. The rooms were spacious, cleaned daily, and the corridors were quiet. The roof terrace stayed open despite the weather being less than ideal, and there was a pool and jacuzzi too. It's a great, modern, clean, comfortable hotel. The staff were kind, professional, and cheerful; reception was always open when I passed by, and the bar was open whenever I needed it. The location was great, close to the L1 metro or about a 30-minute walk to Sagrada Familia.

We paid £300 for one night at a four-star hotel, and ended up having to beg for ice. For my birthday stay, check-in was extremely slow, and we were first given the wrong room. We had to point it out to reception before it was sorted. In the morning, we asked for oat milk and ice in the room because there was a coffee machine. We even offered to pay, but the staff were hostile and difficult. The woman at the bar gave us two ice cubes in a cup taken from a pile of dirty dishes. I had to ask three times for more, and at first she actually said no. Nobody smiled or said hello, and we were made to feel like a nuisance. Wouldn't recommend.

The room was plush, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had, so make sure you pay extra for it. The accommodations felt luxurious, and you can walk to the Sagrada or catch the city bus one block away. This place is amazing!
