Hotel Silken Ramblas

The service was the real standout. Someone in our group came down with a bad cough on the morning we were leaving, and the team easily arranged a late checkout so they could rest before our late flight. Thanks for taking such good care of us. We hope to be back soon! The location was ideal, the rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and the rooftop pool terrace was fabulous.

I can’t recommend this hotel at all. After three days here, it’s been the worst hotel experience I’ve had, and getting a good night’s sleep has felt practically impossible. The towels were dirty and had hair from other guests on them, which is completely unacceptable. The noise was constant. On the first evening, we heard the guests next door, and reception couldn’t help because the walls are so thin. The next day, we could hear people several rooms away and guests above us, whose wooden floor creaked loudly with every step. On our last day, conversations carried from other rooms, and every toilet flush or shower sounded as if water were running through our own bathroom. Even with the windows closed, we could hear everything from outside. We also waited a long time at check-in before we could get into our room. The stay was unpleasant from start to finish. Zero out of ten stars.

Every time I visit Barcelona, I stay at the Silken Ramblas. The location, facilities and customer service are all excellent. Thanks for another amazing stay. Keep up the great work, and see you soon.

The location makes this a perfect base for exploring Barcelona, and I’d definitely stay here again. We also found every member of staff friendly, efficient and helpful.
