Sixties Ramblas Hotel

Jakub at reception, who’s also from Slovakia, made us feel especially welcome and recommended some great local restaurants and places to eat. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful too, and they handled a few small room issues promptly and professionally. The rooms are on the smaller side but worked perfectly well for a short stay. Housekeeping came daily and kept everything clean and tidy. Breakfast was good, with excellent coffee every morning. The hotel is well placed for La Rambla, the port and the metro. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it.

The bar was nice and inexpensive. We didn’t use the restaurant, so I can’t comment on the food. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the boutique hotel itself was clean and lovely, with spacious rooms. It’s a great spot, a short walk from Las ramblas and the port, with a metro station nearby. The L3 line can take you to camp nou. If you’re arranging your own ride from the airport, I’d recommend Cabify. It was great service and cheaper than Uber or a regular taxi. The drive takes about 20 minutes depending on traffic. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and would come back.

Those four days in Barcelona were wonderful, and staying at SIX Hotel Barcelona really added something special to the trip. The rooms were extremely comfortable and housekeeping was impeccable. The location was excellent, and the staff were friendly, courteous and welcoming. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and it was delicious. The staff were really nice, helpful and attentive, and good looking too. My husband, two uncles and I stayed from January 7 to January 10, 2026. The room was clean and great, and it had a balcony. The location was convenient for short walks, close to Ramba Street, nice restaurants, the port and the subway.
