Stay Barcelona Borne Apartment

The location is good, but the hotel costs more than the service is worth, and I wouldn't recommend booking here. The room wasn't properly cleaned: there was black mold on the shower curtain, lots of dust on the window curtains, and the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied. Clean towels cost $20 euro, a charge nobody mentioned at check-in. If you don't want to pay, they tell you to go to a laundry mat. They should explain this to foreign guests; I think they leave it out to make more money. The front desk reception was lazy and unhelpful. We wanted to check in at 11am, but our room wasn't ready until after noon. They charge for late check-out, yet open late and don't have rooms ready during the check-in period. The walls are thin, so you hear the street and noise in the hotel hallway. The windows face bars and a busy street, and it gets loud at night.

Arrive before 6:30 pm if you want to avoid an extra trip for the keys. After that, you'll need to walk about 30 minutes to another office and 30 minutes back, or take an Uber for €15 each way, making it an additional €30. Keep that in mind.

The executive apartment is spacious and really affordable, with room for 2-6 people. I could happily rent it long term. Born district is in an amazing location, within walking distance of everything we needed and wanted. Have fun and enjoy!

The rooms were nice, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful with tips. The location is great, with almost everything a short walk away. You do have to tidy up yourself and take the garbage out, but that's not a big deal.
