The room was comfortable and the amenities were good, but the front desk team really made my stay. They were polite and helpful whenever I needed something, always welcoming, and their recommendations made a real difference to my trip. I had a wonderful time here and would stay again.

W Barcelona stands out for its sail-shaped design, stylish rooms, and sea views. It has beach access, nightlife, and a trendy feel, making it appealing for couples and luxury travelers.

The hostel is kept in really good shape, with roomy rooms, good beds, and reliable hot water. There’s a nice terrace, plus a gym in the same building where hostel guests get a discount. Each room has heating and AC. Marta and Carla at reception are lovely. The evening staff have also been friendly, relaxed, and professional, and they help when asked. I stay here regularly and have enjoyed my recent visits. Reception has been helpful and accommodating throughout.

Most of the staff were kind and helpful, but one man was rude to me for no reason. I don't think he'd have treated another man the same way. He didn't understand my English, which is fine since we're in Spain, but then he asked if I spoke English and laughed at me. After that, he spoke about me in Spanish to a colleague. I understood what he said. It felt passive-aggressive and completely uncalled for. Women should be aware. The room was cleaned every day, and there was always toilet paper. The shower door, though, had a gap, was made of opaque glass, and wouldn't lock.
