Three of us students rented an apartment for our 3.5-month semester abroad. Joan was quick to respond, and whenever we needed anything, it was provided within a few days. The apartment was very clean, and after we left it in good shape, the full deposit came back on time. We had a great experience overall, so I can't relate to the bad reviews. The living room could have been better equipped, and there was a small misunderstanding at the start when we took detailed photos of the apartment's condition. We sorted that out quickly, though. I can definitely recommend this host.

We rented an apartment from them for three months and paid a security deposit equal to two months. They kept more than half of it, claiming we had damaged the property, which wasn't true. The building management was extremely rude and unprofessional.

The subway station is right next door, which makes getting around very easy. The room is spacious and has a kitchen, a big refrigerator, and a washing machine. There’s an elevator and security too, so it was more than comfortable for a few days. There are no seasonings or laundry detergent, so bring your own. A wash takes 1.5-2 hours, so leave enough time for it. There’s no staff on site, so check in advance about check-in. I had to check out early in the morning, but it was fine as long as I told them ahead of time. The only air conditioning is in the living room, and there are no blankets. If you get cold easily and are staying in the cold season, bring something to keep warm.
