The Moods Oasis

The walls are paper thin, so you can hear people coming and going or talking in the hallways at night. Bring earplugs. Even with that, I thought the hotel was superb, with friendly staff, a lovely neighborhood, and a beautiful outdoor terrace. Public transport is easy to reach, though I mostly walked around since Barcelona is such a good city to wander. I went shopping on Rambla de Catalunya, then walked to Sagrada Familia for mass and had an excellent dinner at El Glop. There are also some nice-looking bars and nightclubs nearby on Carrer d'Aribau. And if the man is sleeping outside when you visit, don't worry, he's harmless and doesn't reflect on this great hotel.

I'm looking forward to staying at The Moods Oasis and would highly recommend the hotel for its professionalism and human touch. My booking had a restrictive policy, but when a work issue forced me to change dates, the team was understanding and flexible. Communication was quick, professional, and genuinely kind. Special thanks to Cathy and Aida on the Front Desk team for coordinating it all so efficiently. It's rare to find that level of care.

Aida was the person I spoke with most, and she answered my questions and concerns quickly and thoroughly. The hotel itself is very clean, nicely designed, and in a really quiet area right beside a supermarket. It's a great spot for an evening walk from the city center along Passeig de Gràcia. I'd definitely recommend it :)

The beds were much more comfortable than I expected, the staff were awesome and spoke English well, and they helped with everything we needed. The room was clean and nice whenever we came back at the end of the day. If you mostly need somewhere to shower and sleep, it's a good stay: the location is fairly central and easy to get around from. Our room's window faced a wall, so there wasn't much light. There was a moldy smell around the hotel, the Wi-Fi was slow and sometimes cut out, and the TV was tiny with few channels. The fridge didn't really keep things cold either. For a three-star hotel, it wasn't what I expected, but it works if you won't spend much time in the room.
