The ham and egg dish was just okay, but for 12 euros I expected more than a single egg, ordinary ham, and packaged potato chips. We had dinner here on a weekday. Maybe there are better things on the menu, though I couldn't say. I'm only commenting on the restaurant, which is what I know.

Getting around with lots of bags seems awkward here. All the rooms are on one floor, and the single elevator is hard to reach from reception. Breakfast is pretty basic, too.

The toilet was dirty and the hairdryer didn't work. We had booked two rooms, and the heating was out in one. They brought over a radiator but warned us it wasn't safe to leave on overnight.

The coffee and toast were delicious, and the staff were quick and friendly. We stopped for breakfast on Good Friday while heading to the Jerte Valley, and I really enjoyed it. I'd happily come back if I'm in the area again. Highly recommend this café.

We nearly walked out, and what might have been dinner for four from the set menu ended up being just two sandwiches and very little else. The bar wasn't even especially busy, which made the long waits and lack of attention more frustrating. We waited 30 minutes before anyone asked if we'd been served. Eventually a waiter took our order, then the sandwiches took another 20 minutes to arrive.
