The beach was just down the path, and we could leave our bikes easily in the foyer. Our room was spacious, spotless and bright thanks to the wall-to-wall windows. The shared kitchen was huge, too. A great find, especially for the price.
The hotel has new management, and after hearing good things from several friends, I decided to stay here. The beds have all been replaced and the place renovated, so it now matches the quality of its surroundings. We got a sea-view room. Since it was June, I imagine the area wasn't very crowded yet. Our room was clean, the mattress and bed frame were new, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was at the village bar Café Bar Moderno, where they serve local products. We'll definitely come back.
The beach is practically next door, and we'll definitely return. The hotel has a lovely family atmosphere, the owner is welcoming and the service is excellent. Breakfast with local products was delicious and spectacular. A 10 out of 10, why wouldn't I give it a higher score? We highly recommend it.
It's a small, well-maintained hotel with a dining room, though that room is really just for its spectacular breakfasts. For lunch and dinner, you'll need to find somewhere else, but there are plenty of places nearby. So maybe it's a 1.5-star hotel or a 5-star guesthouse.
The breakfast buffet stood out for its quality and wide selection, and the service was excellent. The hotel was very clean, too. It's an ideal place to spend a few days in the La Marina area of Lugo. We'll definitely be back.
