We planned to spend just one night at each stop while biking, but ended up staying three nights here. Jan's wife cooked dinner for us and the other campers, and it turned into such a lovely evening together. The place itself is beautiful, and Jan was an amazing host, helping us a lot with local tips and recommendations.

The camper pitches have perfectly fine sanitary facilities, and the cave homes feel especially cozy. Jan and Suzy's warm, friendly hospitality made the stay memorable. There are some limits on sanitary facilities for environmental reasons, and we were glad to respect them. Definitely a place I'd recommend.

Sam, the owner, took the time to share some really valuable tips for exploring Gorafe. He's a lovely guy. The campground has a great balance of freedom and respect for other people and nature, with friendly staff and very clean facilities. Just how a campground should be. Highly recommend.

We stayed in Oliva, one of the caves, and it was just right: a comfortable size, with everything needed to be self-sufficient and a lovely terrace out front. Sam and Aurore know the area well and were perfect hosts. It's a peaceful spot in a beautiful part of the world. We'd been before and are sure to come back. Highly recommended.
