I worked remotely from the terrace in our room and the wifi was great. The hotel is right among the busy streets of restaurants and shops, only a few steps from the castle walls, with views of the sea and the castle in Tossa. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely come back and stay again soon.

The breakfast was good. We’re vegetarian, so we had sliced cheese, yogurt, croissant, jam, toast, coffee with steamed milk, and fresh fruit. There were plenty of sliced meats too. The room was fine for the price, with a big comfortable bed and a small balcony that one person could sit on. Street noise came through easily. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is hard to beat, right inside the old tow. The room matched its description, and the private bathroom was clean. We had no trouble checking in or out, and could leave our bags there. Breakfast was super nice, with lots of options, and they’ll bring toasted bread with jam and butter if you ask. An interior room doesn’t face the street, so it’s very peaceful for sleeping. The street facing rooms may be a bit noisy because of the cleaning trucks at night. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was something you can live with. For a hostel or one star hotel, it matched what I expected.
