Hotel Luze Boutique San Sebastián

The food at the restaurant is really good, and it recently earned a Michelin Star. We also enjoyed the spa, which has a sauna, steam room, indoor pool, hot tub, and gym. Access costs 30 euros per person. The rooms were clean, and the staff went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Amazing hotel.

We spent July at Hotel Luze, my son and I, and came away really happy with the stay. The breakfast was honestly excellent, with fresh, quality ingredients, lovely bread and pastries, and obvious care behind it. It’s part of the wider food offering run by chef Iñigo Lavado and his family, who also operate the on-site restaurant. The infinity pool was another highlight, swimming with those wide sea views in front of us was amazing. Our room was beautiful, stylish, peaceful, and very comfortable, and the hotel feels fresh and thoughtfully designed. Borja, the hotel manager/director, and the whole team were fantastic throughout and did everything they could to make things easy for us. We’d absolutely consider coming back.

Itzuli made our romantic week in San Sebastián extra special. The meal was amazing, from the food and wine to the service. The hotel itself is beautiful and quiet. It’s just outside town, but getting in and back is easy, either on foot or by bus or taxi.

The rooms were spacious, airy, and elegant, and every facility felt high quality, well kept, and clean. Iñigo and his team served wonderful food from breakfast through dinner, with local ingredients that really shone. The Lavado family were charming and happy to share their deep knowledge of cooking. The hotel sits in the hills, giving us a welcome break from the busy city even with San Sebastián close by. Monica greeted us warmly each morning, and Borja was always up for a friendly chat. The whole team made every moment a pleasure and nothing felt like too much trouble. My partner and I keep telling everyone about Hotel Luze, and we’ll certainly return.
