We found parking along the road down, even arriving around lunchtime, though spaces are limited. The scenery is great, and there are some decent hiking trails if you want to stretch your legs. The family, with kids aged 9 and 13, enjoyed sunbathing and snorkeling. You can rent a SUP for €20 an hour. Restaurants are so-so, though there’s a very nice gelateria/ice cream place that sometimes has crepes and pizza. I’d head to Begur for dinner.
It’s a stunning spot. We visited Cala Sa Tuna on a windy Friday afternoon in November and had the beach and town to ourselves, with free parking. We skipped some rocks in the sea, then walked part of the Cami de Ronda, stopping in sunny spots for shelter from the wind.
A tiny, stunning beach and cove, with a couple of ideally placed restaurants that get very busy. Parking is unlikely, so it’s best to walk or take the bus from Begur.
We were just passing through, but decided to stop and look around a bit. Parking was hard to find, so we left the car on a hill and had a long walk down into the valley. It was well worth it.
I wouldn’t recommend swimming here. The sea is full of jellyfish, and one stung me. Luckily, there’s a first aid station nearby. There are other beautiful seas around where it’s safe to swim.
