It’s right in the centre, but still quiet, so you can get easily to the centre and beaches and come back to a calm spot. We had a relaxing, comfortable stay, and the family who run it were so kind and welcoming. The terrace is lovely for breakfast, especially with the homemade pastries.

We only stopped for a cappuccino, but the service was great. It’s peaceful, dogs are welcome, and I’d recommend it.

We found El Cafe dels Indians while looking for somewhere away from the touristy spots for a light lunch in Begur. The peaceful courtyard out back was a lovely place to sit. We had a great spread of cheese, hummus, sardines, bread with tomato, olives and organic wine, all fresh and tasty. The owner was really friendly and took time to tell us about the building’s history and a bit about Begur and Girona. Chatting with a local over good food made this feel like an experience you just don’t get in a tourist bar. We were lucky to find El Cafe dels Indians, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Begur.

The whole family looks after everything so well, and Antonia, the grandma, makes delicious breakfasts. She has such a lovely manner, you feel right at home. Best stay in Begur, and the whole family is wonderful. Regards to Antonia 🙂

We had lovely cocktails in the cobbled patio garden as the sun was going down. The couple running the place were genuinely kind, and even made a margarita the special way my sister likes it. Such a beautiful little hidden gem in the heart of Begur.
