The house looks really nicely decorated, but staying there the first week of August means the town festivities go on until 6 a.m. You have to shut the windows if you want to sleep. They told us the air conditioning didn't work, supposedly to save electricity, but that felt like a lie. During a heat wave the house becomes an oven. Even without festivities, the broken mosquito screens make it hard to open the windows, since wasps, flies, and other insects get in. There were also other things I overheard that the owners and Fernando know about, but I don't want to get into them here.

The village is really quiet, and the house has everything you need, so you can stay in if you feel like it. It works really well for a family getaway.

We'd happily come back. The house is lovely, the owner was very friendly, and the neighbors were nice. It's peaceful and has what you need for a few days with family or friends. One thing to keep in mind with children is the many stairs between some parts of the house and the small pool. If you're careful around them, though, the weekend is fantastic.

There was a delicious welcome cake waiting for us, and the nearby neighbors even offered freshly baked sweets when we arrived. They looked tempting, but we'd already brought plenty. The house itself is pretty and comfortable, with room for quite a few people. We visited in summer, and the pool was a little small, though still fine for cooling off. It also seems set up nicely for winter, especially with that fireplace. We had a very pleasant weekend and would recommend it.

The village is super quiet and the neighbors are very friendly, which made it a lovely spot for a few laid-back days with family or friends. Three families stayed for the weekend, and the nice rooms plus four bathrooms made it easy for everyone to spread out. The fireplace must be wonderful in winter.
