Descanso del Quijote

The house was spacious and great, with an en-suite bathroom in every bedroom and a good barbecue area. My one drawback was the heated pool, which was cold. It would be nice if the water were warmer, since that’s the point of having it heated. Otherwise, it might as well be outdoors.

We’ve stayed here for two summers in a row, and the layout works really well. The rooms are spacious, each with a huge private bathroom, and everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has modern appliances, and the pool and patio are private, great for swimming safely and having a barbecue. It’s the perfect country house. The only thing missing is a high chair for babies.

The private bathrooms and roomy, well-equipped rooms made this charming town-center house especially comfortable. It was spotless and tastefully decorated, with a patio barbecue and a swimming pool too. Good value, and highly recommended.

The house is in really good shape and works well for a big group: plenty of bathrooms and no trouble getting hot water. The BBQ was fantastic, and the owners were lovely to communicate with. We were there in winter, so we didn't use the pool, though it looked great. Getting between the lower and upper floors means crossing an open-air courtyard. That might be fine in summer, but it was cold in winter, and easy to regret forgetting something upstairs. Also, despite telling them we'd use one of the extra beds, there were no sheets, blankets, or pillows for it, and no spares in case the weather got colder.
