The rooms were quiet and great, with comfortable beds and a shower with strong water pressure. Breakfast was excellent and included in the room price, and the coffee was fantastic. I was especially happy with Pepe at the front desk, an older gentleman who was the happiest, friendliest, most jovial person I’ve met so far on the Camino. I highly recommend this hotel.

A lovely stop to treat yourself on the Camino. I got a really kind welcome, plus a pin, and the receptionist was so lovely. The service was great, and breakfast was enormous with lots of different things to choose from. Loved it!

Pepe is wonderful, so cheerful and caring with everyone who eats or stays here. The beds were uncomfortable, though, and could use a bit more softness, so that’s why we gave it 4 stars.

Our room was spotless, looked newly remodeled, and felt very comfortable. We even thought it deserved to be a 4 star hotel. After four weeks of staying in different places on the Camino del Norte, this has been our favorite experience yet. Pepe and the team were wonderful, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. They’ve been kind and generous to pilgrims for 20+ years. We’re staying somewhere else on the route tonight and already miss them and this hotel. We hope we can return someday.

The breakfast was superb, just right before a day of walking. Dinner had local specialties, including cider with that amazing pouring cork stopper. Since it’s on the Camino, walkers staying at the hostel across the road come here to eat, so it’s a nice place to compare notes or get advice about blisters. Friendly, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
