Albergue De Peregrinos Cuatro Cantones

The pool was the main reason I chose this place. The rooms have so many beds that they can feel crowded, and they got uncomfortably hot at night. There aren’t many places to eat in town if you don’t want to dine at the albergue. Dinner is cash only, which is a bit inconvenient.

The beds were comfortable, and the hostel has a nice pool and a great location, though the kitchen wasn’t well equipped. I also came away feeling tricked. I’d booked through Booking, then went in person to check in. I was with a group, and we made another booking on the spot under one of the guys’ names. They didn’t catch that I already had a Booking reservation. I assumed their system or the staff would notice. I paid in cash, thinking that covered my original booking, but my credit card was charged as well. When I tried to sort it out with the man at reception, they wouldn’t refund me.

The restaurant was wonderful, far beyond what I expected, and the pool and outdoor area were excellent. The rooms were okay. It would be nice if the kitchen had a few basics like salt, pepper, and napkins. Thanks for hosting me.

The staff were warm and friendly, and the food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Our dorm was clean, comfortable, and had a distinctive feel. It cost just 28 euro for two people, and we had the whole dorm to ourselves. There’s a large garden with a pool and good cooking facilities. I’d give it six stars if that were an option.
