A great place.

Shops and restaurants nearby were the one good thing. The residence was being renovated when I stayed in June 2026, and the pools had been closed and inaccessible for months. They were just green water and silt, with no plans to reopen in the coming months.

We felt abandoned and helpless through the whole nightmare. We were stuck there the first night because Vrbo didn't help, and it was a long weekend with everything incredibly expensive. We left the next day, even though we'd paid for another night. Never again. Don't stay here. The place was unsafe for our small children and didn't meet basic habitability or safety standards. The outside lock wouldn't open without help. There was exposed wiring on the wall, wires taped together in another corner, and rusty areas. Furniture maintenance was also completely lacking, with damaged chairs and a sofa. The kitchen faucet only worked if you pushed it all the way in. Cleanliness was nonexistent: hair on the beds, floor, and in the bathroom, along with dust, sticky patches, and chairs that looked like they hadn't been wiped. We don't think the sheets had been changed, and a cockroach appeared during the night. We called the owner. He said a cleaner would come the next day because the previous cleaner had done a poor job. He also said the previous guest had tried to force the lock and explained how to use the faucet. That wasn't enough for us, and our later calls went unanswered. At 5:20 a.m., they messaged us to leave the keys so they could clean.
