Medplaya Hotel Bali

Our family has just come back from a week at MedPlaya Bali, and we had an amazing time. The staff were so friendly and superb with our three-year-old daughter. The food was lovely, the bar had great drinks, and the evening entertainment was fantastic each night. The kids' disco and activities were loads of fun. The blonde barmaid who worked the bar during the day was especially friendly and lovely with our daughter. I didn’t catch her name. The hotel staff may be the best we’ve ever had. Our only minor complaint was that the kids' pool was really cold, which put our daughter off going in. That was probably down to the time of year, February, rather than the hotel. The marina is beautiful, and the beach is only a five-minute walk away. The hotel sits up a steep hill, but the location is fantastic. The staff are lovely, the place is spotless, and the food and evening entertainment are decent. The pool looked nice too, though January weather hasn't been good enough for us to enjoy it. We're here now and would definitely book again. 10/10, just gutted we only booked three nights.

We spent six days here with our whole family, and all of us were happy with the stay. The staff were friendly everywhere, from reception and the restaurant to housekeeping. Our rooms were clean and well maintained, with lovely sea views, and the towels were changed daily. Housekeeping were especially kind. The hotel was clean and in good shape throughout, and it deserves five stars in our view. We don't understand why its rating is so low. The all-inclusive drinks were proper, not watered down, and the bar and evening entertainment were great. There was plenty of tasty food to choose from, though we would have liked more fresh vegetables such as cucumber and fresh peppers. The coffee machine could use replacing too, as the coffee didn't taste like real coffee. There are lots of activities for children, so we'd especially recommend it for families. We came with another family, and every one of us would say the same.

We had a lovely first family holiday and can't wait to return in June. The hotel is spotless, the rooms were cleaned every day, and the staff were quick to sort out any issues. They were brilliant with our three children, all five or younger, especially around the pool, where they got them involved in everything. We always found something fresh to eat, and the food was great. The location worked perfectly for us. The hill is steep, but even the kids walked it without complaining. In the evenings there was bingo every night, usually followed by a singer, and the entertainment was good. The kids' disco could have been a little longer, but the staff always made sure the children had fun. We visited at the beginning of May 2025 as a family of five, and honestly, I have nothing to complain about.
