Apartamentos Bali

We were very comfortable, and the location is excellent, close to the beach and lots of restaurants. There's free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a TV with many channels, a well-equipped kitchen, and everything was very clean. The pool and lawn are both clean and spacious, and these apartments are highly recommended for pets. A few small things could be better: the bathroom ceiling was peeling a bit, and the toilet handle stuck one day, so we had to be careful with it. They also don't provide bath towels or bath mats.

The biggest hassle was collecting the keys. The office shuts for three or three and a half hours around midday on Saturdays, and when we arrived after 2 pm it was closed. We had to wait three hours, pacing around with our suitcases in the car, before it opened. The apartments are by Heliópolis beach and have a communal pool, but they're tiny. Ours had two bedrooms and could sleep six, yet it felt cramped even with just four of us. The open-plan kitchen has so little space that you can barely do anything. Worse, it lacks basic utensils and supplies: no breakfast cups, just six glasses, and no tablecloth, napkins, paper towels, detergent, soap, floor cleaner, or tongs. They do warn you there are no towels, but there wasn't even anything to wash our hands with when we arrived. There was no food or usual welcome pack either, not even a small bottle of water.

The beaches are very well maintained, and the apartment is in a great spot, just a minute's walk away. A covered parking space is included. It could be cleaned more thoroughly, but overall it was fine.

We had a fantastic apartment in a great beachfront area, with a big terrace facing the sea. The owner who rented it to us was lovely as well. Definitely recommended.
