The best part was the service at the end of our stay. Although the standard checkout is 10:00 AM, staff let us stay until 11:00 AM, then gave us secure suitcase storage and access to a room to shower and change before our afternoon flight. That made the last day much more relaxed. Check-in was quick and professional, and reception staff even helped carry our luggage up the first steps to the lobby. Communication before arrival was excellent too. For three adults, our two-bedroom unit at the Rivera Apartments was spacious and airy, with two full bathrooms. One bedroom had an extra-large king-size bed and ensuite, the other had two comfortable singles, and the kitchen was well equipped for a short stay. The two balconies both faced an unattractive building, which was disappointing. It was quiet most of the time, but several large groups arrived on Friday, our last day, and noise rose quite a bit. A good option for groups or families who want space and helpful service. I'd stay again, but might ask for a better view.

We only stayed two nights while my son was in Benidorm for a kickboxing tournament, and we live in Torrevieja. At check-in around 4pm, two lovely, friendly ladies greeted us. The place was amazing, with everything we needed in the room, spotlessly clean and with fantastic air conditioning. The location is unbelievable, just a minute from Benidorm old town. The service was very good, and a couple of things we raised were sorted quickly. It's a perfect old town location, about five minutes from the beach and nearest bars. The rooms were large, though ours could have been cleaner: there was dust in the corners and the bathrooms needed a proper scrub. Our balcony faced a brick wall, so there was no view, but our friends in the penthouse had a lovely one. I'd happily stay here again.

We liked the place enough to return this summer after staying last year. The apartments are in a secure block with card access, and the kitchen has everything you need. There's a terrace with sunbeds if you'd rather skip the beach, and lots of shops nearby. Mercadona is a five-minute walk away, next to a reasonably priced car park that you can book online. The apartment was very clean, and the beach is a five-minute walk downhill. Be ready for the steep uphill walk back in the heat.

The beds were really comfortable and the staff so friendly. It was about five minutes to the beach, and there was a great coffee and cake place two doors down. These were the cleanest apartments I've ever stayed in, with everything you could want, including a kettle, toaster and decent hairdryer. I highly recommend them.
