Aparthotel BCL Levante Lux

The apartment was really clean and spacious, and we were very happy with it. The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the beach was about a 10-minute walk away. From there it was around 30 minutes on foot to the old town. There was a pool table and small bar at reception. The large double bedroom was separate from a smaller room with two single beds set head to head; that room opened onto the balcony. The sitting and dining room also had a balcony door. The kitchen opened off the dining area and had a door to a small outdoor space for bins or drying things. The photos show the view from the balcony.

We had a friendly welcome and the hotel is right in the main town. The room was a good size, but during our four days there nobody cleaned it or replaced the towels. We had to keep using the same ones, including the towels we used to stop water from the badly fitted shower running across the bathroom floor. That was what kept this from being five stars.

Andrea at reception was a real help every day, from sharing local information to finding us good taxi prices and day trips. My mother especially liked her, and she helped make the stay feel like a dream. The rooms were nice and the pool was lovely and quiet, especially compared with the crowded Meliá where we stayed three months earlier. One night, I’m pretty sure the floor outside my room had been cleaned with olive oil, but otherwise it was a very nice stay. I’d happily return to the Lev lux aparthotel.

Four nights here gave me a much-needed rest. The pool was clean and reception staff were great, with a few English people there, which was helpful. I never had a problem. It’s a cheap 3* hotel for a short stay, and while the rooms are dated, they were spotless. There’s also a little kitchen, so I couldn’t fault it.
