Peter at reception was very helpful with suggestions for Spanish bars and restaurants. The location is excellent and the staff are fantastic. My only complaint is that the hot breakfast items were usually cold or just warm. I'd definitely stay again.

The food setup was nice, and the chefs kept replacing dishes as they ran low. But the food labels were poor: the menus didn't always match what was served, and many items had no label at all. That could be a nightmare for anyone with allergies, so clear labels for every dish each night are important. There was also mostly meat at dinner, with salad and fries, so I think they should offer a vegetarian main each night too, like mac and cheese, vegetable pasta or cheese pizza. We had a lovely stay in a clean, tidy hotel, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Peter, Flaviân and Bianca on reception, and David in the restaurant and bar, were especially helpful. The common areas were nicely decorated and clean, and the hotel has balconies with lovely views. Rooms include a TV, safe and fridge, and have a very powerful shower. There's table service in the café and bar. Winter bedding includes blankets too. A few small things could be improved. The corridors feel dark and dingy and could use plants and pictures. The bar and room lights are very bright, so dimmers and bedside lamps would help. Our room's wallpaper was peeling a little, an easy fix that would make it look better. Balcony chairs are uncomfortable; a chair like the comfy ones by the pool would be much nicer. An ice machine on each floor would also be handy, since otherwise you have to go to the bar for ice, though they're happy to provide it. The stay was enjoyable, and we'd definitely return.

Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice, but the hotel needs a kick up the backside to get everything working properly. Our rooms were okay, though they could have been better cared for. Both lifts failed while we were there, and reception just shrugged.

We chose this hotel for its pool and how close it is to the sea, and we were glad we did. The staff were always friendly, kind and helpful. We enjoyed the delicious food and the occasional live entertainment. One small suggestion: the pool shuts after 8 PM, while many hotels let guests swim later. More people might visit the bar if children could swim after dark, especially since parents wouldn't take them into the sea then. It was a lovely stay, and we'd happily return!
