Hotel Los Angeles

Pilar, who was running reception, made a real difference. She welcomed us so warmly and was incredibly helpful during our stay, which is why I'm writing this review. The staff's kindness was a real highlight. The location of Hotel Los Ángeles Benidorm is hard to beat. Bars and restaurants are only steps away, and the beach is very close. For the price, it was good value. The hotel is basic and shows plenty of wear. The rooms are small, but for the cost and location, it's a solid choice.

The mattresses were firm and comfortable, and the hotel was quiet at night, with no noisy drunks in the street. But there was no helpdesk after 6pm, and the TV only had Spanish channels. Breakfast was the poorest I've had in a hotel, with no eggs or vegetables. A stain on my bedsheet made me uncomfortable sleeping. The elevator door kept blocking for no reason. If you're taller than average, the bidet gets in the way of your knees when sitting, and getting into the bathtub to shower feels dangerous because there's no handrail.

Rooms were cleaned every day, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, right in the centre of Old Town.

Pedro the bossen is friendly, but his wife laughed me out when I had trouble breathing because of Astma. It made me feel very unwelcome. They aren't clean either.
