I went over from the UK for my birthday and had a great time. Breakfast was a really good continental spread, and I had eggs and tomatoes on toast. It's a Spanish hotel, so don't come expecting an English fry-up; you'd be better off down by the strip for that. My third-floor view was stunning, and I loved sitting out and watching everything happen. I got lucky with that room. The staff were brilliant. The cleaners were so trustworthy that I never worried about leaving things out. After nights out, they even picked money up from the floor and put it back on the table. The woman at reception was an absolute legend, and everyone was helpful. You're about three minutes from the beach, four from the church and two from tapas alley. It wasn't too noisy for me, and I slept fine. It's the old town, so things quiet down around 1am. There are stairs, and if you're older, bear that in mind. I was walking at least six miles a day, so they didn't bother me. Great place for people who like the Spanish vibe.

There's no lift, and the apartment is up four floors. It hasn't been renovated as the listing says, and room service was slow and not very clean. The buffet was adequate, with home-cooked quality. Better to stay at the hotel.

Brilliant place, cleaned every day with fresh towels. The only downside is all the steps, and I'd avoid asking for the fourth floor. Otherwise, five stars from me.

We felt at home straight away. Our second-floor room was lovely and very clean, with a balcony overlooking the sea. There's no lift, though. The location is ideal, right by the beach and still close to the town centre. The food was delicious, especially the homemade paella, and the service was first-rate. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We were really happy with our stay and will definitely return. I'd happily recommend the hotel.
