The neighbors across the way play loud music almost every night, so be prepared for the noise.

This worked really well for a family trip, and the place felt welcoming and generally peaceful. The apartments were spotless and had useful things like air conditioning and a dishwasher, though the Wi-Fi didn't reach the bedrooms. Kids can feed and visit the farm animals at any time, and there are a playground, barbecue area, and pools for adults and children. Some days there are inflatable toys in the pool. The bar serves breakfast and runs activities for children, but nobody supervises them. The playroom could use improvement. I'd ask for an apartment away from the reception entrance: the door is noisy when it closes, and the constant comings and goings around midday made it hard to nap. You'll need a car.

The spa was okay, though it felt a little dirty when we went at the last minute. The apartments are lovely but could use a bit more equipment. It's a beautiful area with lots of hikes nearby. The atmosphere is geared toward families, so friends travelling together might want to choose somewhere else.
