The quiet setting makes this a lovely spot to unwind or head out hiking. The owners are kind and attentive, and give you plenty of space, which felt especially welcome with COVID around. The house was spotless and comfortable, with heating that kept the cold outside at bay. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms. There’s a little garden and barbecue area with direct access to the house. It’s well set up for a stay, including a hairdryer and washing machine, though there’s no oven.

A lovely place to switch off and relax. The house is beautiful and very clean, and its peaceful natural setting is a real draw. The kitchen has plenty of equipment, and the bathrooms were spotless. I especially liked the main bedroom and its pretty handmade headboard.

The lack of mosquito screens on the windows and front door was an issue for me. I’m giving the house 3 stars because we stayed during a heat wave, and without air conditioning we were really hot. The house itself is very nice.
