The room itself was clean and nice, and the shower was the best part. But the bed was very uncomfortable, and on our last day the mirror fell off the wall. We had to keep the window closed because the room faced other apartments and cooking smells came in. The building was old and dark, in a part of town that felt shady, although the room was near the city center. There was no receptionist to welcome us, so after a long travel day we had to work things out from a text message and enter through coded doors. The elevator only reached a half-floor, leaving us to drag our luggage the rest of the way.

It was incredibly noisy. I checked in, then left two hours later and wrote off the money. They kept it and made no effort to refund anything. I know it was non-refundable, but I’d have expected some effort when a guest was that disappointed.

The AC was poor on both of our visits to the same room. It didn’t blow cold air. Apart from that, it’s a great value and a perfect spot for a couple staying two or three days. Everything you might want is a short walk away. Our room was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had hot water and strong pressure. Customer service was very good, and the room had Netflix on the TV, a safe and a small fridge. We’ll be back at the end of our trip in Spain. 🙏

I picked this place over an Airbnb because I wanted luggage storage. But there wasn’t really a service: the bags had to stay in the corridor under a camera. We ended up paying for secure luggage storage somewhere else!

The room was very, very clean and the location was wow, but the building was disgusting and the elevator smelled like urea. Our room had a terrible view and was tiny. We booked for a family of five but got only four beds. When we asked for the missing one, they said it would cost extra. The service was OK.
