The area is lovely for getting out into nature, with a waterfall near the village, the well-kept washhouse, the famous fountain with several spouts, and paths up to the hermitage and ruined castle. There are also bike routes between villages. Colorines Mountain, which the owner recommended, turned out to be a delightful surprise. It’s a relaxing place for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. The house itself is charming and maze-like, with village architecture and a rustic, bohemian feel. There’s a shared kitchen with everything needed for cooking, two dining rooms, and a nicely decorated terrace with a barbecue. Piedad was warm, attentive, and always available, making sure we had what we needed to feel at home. Thanks, Piedad, for all your care and dedication.

We didn’t want to leave so soon. The village and countryside are beautiful, and the locals were genuinely kind. Piedad and Ramón were wonderful hosts, always checking whether we needed anything. The house is gorgeous, spotlessly clean, and decorated with real taste. The kitchen is fully equipped, too. We’d happily come back and recommend it.

Piedad was very friendly and looked after everything. We were two couples away for the weekend, and although the place is usually rented to groups, they let us bring our dog because there were very few bookings that weekend. The kitchen, terrace, and barbecue were all available to us and came in handy. There are quite a few stairs to get around. The kitchen and terrace are up one flight, and the living room is another half-flight above that.

The setting is quiet and scenic, and there are nice places nearby to enjoy or go for a swim. The restoration has been done really well, and the photos suit the place. It feels cool and welcoming, especially for a summer stay, if you’re after a peaceful break. Piedad is attentive and friendly, and the service is excellent. The mattresses could be better and some things aren’t in perfect shape, but for the price it’s very good value.
