Bilbao rooms & kitchen Santutxu

The room itself was clean, but getting any sleep was impossible. There were no curtains or blinds, and the streetlight shone straight through the window, making the room brighter than outside at 2 AM. After a long day and more than seven hours driving, I was hoping to rest before the drive back to the UK. Instead, I woke up every half hour and had the worst night of my life. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.

The metro and nearby amenities make this a convenient choice, and having a kitchen and laundry facilities was useful. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable, with bathrooms that are well equipped. You can sometimes hear the neighborhood, though it never kept me awake. The blackout blinds are controlled with buttons by the window.

The location is acceptable, and the room felt brand new, spotless, and well equipped. Service only gets two stars since all that's offered is the room and common area, even though the room itself has plenty of equipment.

We'd happily come back. The manager was attentive, and the maintenance staff were really friendly. The neighborhood was pleasant, with the metro only a two-minute walk away, though the place isn't central. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. The kitchen had everything well set up. The walls are thin, but the other guests were considerate, so noise wasn't an issue.
