The receptionist was rude and didn't apologize. My code stopped working on the first day, and I had to wait until reception opened at 2pm to get it fixed.

Room 104 may not be the best one there, but that was a truly awful night. The room was fairly clean apart from obvious dust, and for a budget room it even had an iron. Still, half the rooms face the square, so think about whether you can sleep with noise and lights before booking. We couldn't get to sleep before 1:30am. We were on the first floor above two or more cafes, and even after closing they were noisy while collecting terrace tables. Our view faced a large square where a loud car wash started after midnight and went on for about 1-1.5 hours, with someone occasionally signaling to the driver about obstacles. There were only heavy curtains, no blackout roller blinds, and a big green light, about 8cm wide, on the ceiling that couldn't be switched off. The air conditioner blew straight at the bed and our heads. Even on its lowest setting it felt like a strong wind, but without it the room was too hot to sleep, and there was no way to adjust it to a comfortable level. I don't know where the pleasant service people mention in other comments was. There was no smile at check-in and no goodbye at checkout. I didn't need either, it just felt odd.

The place was clean, the location excellent, and the price reasonable. The real bonus was the staff, who were so nice. Bosad is the most unique person I've ever met. I'll definitely come back ❤️

I hadn't even had the chance to stay yet, but the Bypillow Bilbo team had already shown real hospitality. They were incredibly kind and helpful while I dealt with a double booking made through another platform. Thank you so much for everything.
