Iturriaga Ostatua Self check in

A really nice place.

The accommodation is comfortable and clean. When I arrived, the room smelled strongly of damp, but opening the window sorted that out. The water only came out lukewarm, not hot, which is worth bearing in mind in winter, and the place is a bit noisy. I could hear the other people staying here. My boss paid for the accommodation, so I don’t know the price. I wouldn’t pay more than €20; above that it’s expensive, especially with no hot water.

There’s a metro station very close by, which is the only good thing. The place is an inn, not a hotel, and there’s nobody on duty. I couldn’t get in because the instructions were poor and had to call before I managed it. It’s a long way from the city centre.

The owner was so welcoming and helpful that I felt at home. The neighborhood was peaceful and felt safe, and I liked being close to the metro and just a short walk from the center. The room was comfortable and spotless, with no dirty corners anywhere. For the price, it was a great choice for a few days. I can't think of anything to complain about, and I'd happily stay here again when I'm back in the city.
