The kitchen has very few utensils, and the layout is awkward. To reach the dining table, you have to cross to the far end of the house and walk past other rooms. We picked this house because we were told the indoor pool was heated, and paid more than we would have for other options, thinking it would suit the children. When we arrived with their swimsuits, the heating unit was there, but it didn’t work and no one knew how to switch it on. We spent a while trying the manuals while the children waited to swim. They could have told us beforehand that the pool wasn’t heated or wasn’t working, so we could decide whether to keep the booking or cancel and choose another house. They didn’t. We were also told they wanted to charge €50 for each extra hour we stayed. I don’t recommend this house, and the price seems higher than it’s worth.

The night sky was incredible, full of remarkably clear stars, and the surroundings were unbeatable. We were seven adults looking for a chance to unwind, and this farmhouse was a fantastic choice. It’s spacious and well equipped, and the owners were friendly and attentive.

We arrived with two small children and someone who needs a breathing machine at night, and found ourselves without power or water for five hours. The owners didn’t come to deal with the outage until those five hours had passed. They kept blaming the electricity company, but had never mentioned before renting that these outages happen frequently. We also got bitten by bed bugs. Three of us had so many bites that we ended up in the emergency room and on medication. The shower was clogged with lots of hair, and a razor blade cover was stuck in it. The water wouldn’t drain, so we had to clear all the debris ourselves. After all that, the owners only said they were sorry and refused to refund any of the cost. I absolutely don’t recommend this place.

The owners are lovely, and the place is incredibly cozy and quiet.
