Camping Bella Terra

We stayed in one of their bungalows for a week. It’s a clean, safe little campsite in a good location, with direct access to the beach. There’s a great pool, an on-site shop, bar, and restaurant. They have entertainment most nights and activities for kids. The shop’s fresh pastries and bread are good value.

The location is great, and the campsite has good showers and toilets. But I was surprised the pools were still closed in the hot weather. The site said they were open, but they weren’t. There need to be more bins. There’s only one bin area, and it’s far away. We paid 56.64 for two days with our CC card discount. At that price I was okay, but I’d have been disappointed if we’d paid more. I’d give it 3.5/5 stars.

The pool was a little paradise, with slides that kept the kids busy for hours while I could lounge and “supervise.” The beach is right by the campsite, though watch out for Mr. Jellyfish. We spent a week at Camping Bella Terra in Blanes and found the facilities spotless, with cleaning staff working incredibly hard. The restaurant served tasty food that didn’t use up the holiday budget. The bar was always busy and well stocked, with plenty of cold beer. Check-in was easy, and a guy on a bike escorted us to our pitch. It made me feel a bit like camping royalty. No real complaints, except that I wish we’d stayed longer. If camping were always this easy, I might move into a tent permanently, or at least until my back complained.

It’s a very large campsite, but spotlessly clean, with a nice restaurant and bar on site.
