Casa da Posta de Valmaior

The quiet location made it easy to switch off, even though the house is in Boiro. It’s a beautiful traditional country home, decorated with lovely taste, and Rosa welcomed me with a smile and so much warmth. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. I wish I’d had more time there, and hope to come back for a longer stay. Thanks, Rosa, for being so kind and attentive. Wishing you lots of success.

My parents had a lovely stay. They really liked the rustic house, and said the breakfast room was just right. They also found the staff extremely friendly. Such a pretty place.

Getting around from here was easy, since it’s right by the main roads and well placed for visiting the nearby towns and gorgeous beaches. It’s outside the center of Boiro, which suited us just fine. We felt more welcome here than we have at most places. The team looked after every detail, from fresh flowers around the hotel and beds with very comfortable sheets embroidered with the hotel’s initials, to breakfast with tomatoes from their garden and homemade pastries. The setting is beautiful and surrounded by nature, too. The service was wonderful, and they gave us great restaurant tips. Thanks for all your care, energy, and professionalism. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay in this peaceful house, away from the crowds. The room was spacious, the service was good, and breakfast was good too. I did miss having chocolate at breakfast. The small pool wasn’t working, which was a shame since it could have been nice for kids. The grounds could use some upkeep. For a 5-star hotel, those were the details I noticed were missing.
