Apartamentos Boutique Salamanca

We felt completely misled by how the deposit was handled. They demanded much more than the advertised amount, then kept the money after our stay without a reasonable explanation. In several emails and calls, the explanations kept changing. They admitted management errors, yet still refused to return it, citing an alleged contract breach that had never been mentioned as a reason to withhold the deposit. It feels like they took our money without cause, relying on unclear terms. Be very careful about booking here and how they handle guest funds. This was an experience of feeling thoroughly deceived.

The location is hard to beat, just behind Plaza Mayor and facing Salamanca's main street. Inside, everything was very clean and well arranged. The bedroom has a big, comfortable bed and a sofa bed, also comfortable, plus a table for having a drink. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom was perfect. A lovely apartment, highly recommended. I'll be back.

We were told there was parking, but when we arrived they said there wasn't enough room for our car. They also required a €100 deposit that hadn't been mentioned at booking. The studio itself is okay and the central Salamanca location has a great atmosphere, but the windows don't keep out the noise, so you can hear everything. If you're with children and want a good night's rest, this isn't the place.

The apartment is nice and has what you need, but street noise was a real problem. Garbage bins are right outside, vans unload early in the morning, and there's construction across the street. You can't open the windows, and the air conditioning is noisy too. Maybe sleep would be easier in winter.
