Hotel Gabriel Y Galv N

I liked the hotel a lot: comfortable, clean, and near the old town. Cristina and Nicole were friendly and really helpful. I planned on one night, then decided to stay for a second. Very pleased.

The room was comfortable and very clean, and we always had heat. We were very satisfied with the stay. The service was excellent, and the staff deserve a 10 out of 10.

I couldn't sleep at all, and I absolutely wouldn't recommend this hotel. I booked just one night, which turned into a terrible experience. At 3:10 a.m. an alarm siren started blaring. Reception said it was a false alarm, but it took almost half an hour to stop it. The soundproofing is awful, you can hear everything from other rooms. In room 107, a man and a woman were talking loudly and shouting for much of the night. I don't know whether she was his girlfriend or a sex worker, or what was going on between them. He asked her for kisses, she refused, and they kept shouting. I couldn't take it anymore and called reception. They said they'd come by, but nobody showed up. At 6:00 a.m., the phone in that room rang nonstop and woke me, then I could hear them snoring as if they were in my room. By 8:30 a.m. they were talking loudly and shouting again. Between the false alarm, the poor soundproofing, and all that noise, it was a night to forget. And the hotel wasn't cheap.

There's an elevator for people with reduced mobility, and the room was clean. The hotel is near the historic center on a quiet street, away from the nearby boulevard. Underground parking is about a five-minute walk away.
