By the second night, I’d had enough and left, even though I’d paid for six. Kids kept screaming and shouting late into the night, dogs off their leads peed on my awning, and some women were loud with no volume control. There are three or four permanent statics and some grubby vans around. I can’t see why people call it a quiet site. Maybe I was just surrounded by families from hell, but it wasn’t a nice place to stop and relax.

We were allowed to stay past the official closing day, which we really appreciated. The owners were ultra friendly, and the campsite’s tucked away in a quiet corner. It was a fantastic find. We’ll definitely come back to try the restaurant.
