Hostal El Alba

I was really comfortable there for four nights, and the kitchen was a definite bonus. The place feels welcoming, and the staff are lovely, always happy to help with whatever you need. Cleanliness was EXCELLENT. Thanks so much for everything, I'll definitely come back.

You could hear everything, including loud conversations from the kitchen, and the broken blinds let all the light in. One wouldn't close fully and the other wouldn't come down at all. The bunk wasn't comfortable, so we used the lower one because the top bunk's bedspread and pillow were stained and looked unchanged. The helpful check-in attendant and decent shared bathroom were the only good parts.

Sara and Noelia were attentive from the first call about availability, and the location is in a quiet area with cafés, supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies and free parking nearby. The daily cleaning was very good, and the pleasant common areas were well looked after. Dogs are made comfortable too, and the guests had a good atmosphere. We stayed 15 days and will definitely return. Excellent value for money.

The facilities are in good condition, and the price and easy access were positives for me. Still, the cleanliness across the place was disappointing. There was hair on the sheets, and we had to clean stains out of our bedroom drawers when we arrived. In the bathrooms, only the toilets were clean. The kitchen was worst of all, with grease on the doors, drawers, refrigerator, basically everything, and on the floor, much like the bathrooms. It's a shame they don't keep the place cleaner.
