The staff were helpful, the room was tidy and clean, and the sheets were clean too. The beds have the old spring style, though that didn’t bother me. I couldn’t get onto the WiFi. Breakfast was good for the price, so nothing to complain about.

I stayed a year ago and wish I could rate it lower. The room had no heat, even though I’d made the reservation four hours earlier, and the man acted as if it had never come through. We booked because there was supposed to be a restaurant, but it was closed. Breakfast was meant to be included, yet all we got was one piece of toast and a coffee, and we had to fight even to get that. The staff were very rude.

There are a few renovations going on, but our room was clean and tidy and had an ensuite. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

The sheets and bedspread were old and worn, with cigarette burns, which felt really unpleasant and unhygienic. The mattresses were uncomfortable too, like beach mats, and I kept ending up in the middle of the bed. A very poor experience.
