The staff were incredible, really nice and helpful, with a great upbeat attitude. The bedsheets were clean, and the maid works hard, but there was a lingering stink and the place smelled dusty and musty. I couldn't stop sneezing. This is the worst place I've stayed on the Camino so far. The building is old, the stairs are uneven, and the whole place feels like a fire hazard. I've had better accommodation on the Camino for less money.

The receptionists were really nice, attentive, and ready to help and sort out problems. At Pensión del Camino, they put us in a large four-bed room that was very poorly cleaned, and the shared bathroom was disgusting. For €10 more, we moved to Hotel Jacobeo, which is run by the same company and on the same street, and got a private bathroom. It was cleaner and quiet there. At the other place, you could hear footsteps on the old wooden floor.
